On-board luxury
There is only one class in the Skyliner for your passengers: the luxury class. This is guaranteed by features such as the numerous adjustment options of the comfort seats. The comfortable standing height of 1.80 meters also ensures that all on-board travellers feel at ease. The standard equipment in the Skyliner includes the optimum ambient temperature. Our two-zone air-conditioning system provides the upper and lower decks with heat or a cool breeze, independently of each other.
In the spacious, functional kitchenette, you can prepare freshly brewed hot drinks and hot snacks for your passengers at any time. And the clever concept of LED lighting throughout the interior illuminates both levels at any time of the day and during the night, depending on your requirements.
A class of its own
With our double-decker coach, you can offer up to 85 passengers a luxury travel experience, even when it comes to luggage, without any limits: the Skyliner is in a class of its own even when it comes to storage. With a volume of up to 11 m³, it offers the largest luggage compartment of all double-decker buses.

Ergonomic, haptic, comfortable: the multifunction steering wheel
Full control in both hands: With the multifunction steering wheel, bus drivers can quickly access all important functions while concentrating on the road traffic – and keeping their hands on the wheel.
Its multifunction buttons are ergonomically arranged on two separate control isles. Thanks to logical functional grouping, all control buttons are easily accessible within a thumb length. Access to the individual functions is possible without having to change your grip. In combination with the 12-inch digital display positioned directly behind the steering wheel, drivers have all important information at a glance while being at the helm.
A variety of adjustment positions allow the driver’s workplace to be adapted according to the driver’s height and physique.
Focused driving pleasure with the 12-inch driver’s display
One glance is enough: the fully digital and high-resolution 12-inch driver’s display enables drivers to capture all relevant information effortlessly and in the shortest possible time – thus being able to react quickly. This prevents visual overstimulation and fatigue, which helps to improve driving safety.
The colour display uses clear elements and modern 3D views to provide information on vehicle and engine speed, navigation, media and assistance system messages while displaying warnings and notices. Thanks to smart details, such as the semi-circular scaling of speedometer and rev counter with indicators moving in opposite direction, there is much more space available in the centre of the display for additional information compared to using complete dial instruments with indicators moving in the same direction.
Practical: Depending on preference, the display can be called up intuitively and conveniently via the multifunction steering wheel or the left drop arm (without multifunction steering wheel) and set individually: either in the full screen view for displaying important information such as the bus stop display in large view – or in the home screen view with central main display and alternating displays at the side.
Turns the journey into an experience: new infotainment with 7-inch media display
Exceptional infotainment is becoming increasingly important when on the road: That is why the modern MMC (MAN Media Coach) Advanced media system offers drivers and passengers an exceptional infotainment experience with a wide range of functions for audio, video, communication and navigation. Because safety is paramount, it features user-friendly, low-distraction operation.
The system has a separate 7-inch media display in the driverʼs side viewing area that visualise the media functions. It is conveniently controlled via a classic control panel, the multifunction steering wheel, SmartSelect or by voice command. Choose between the driver mode, which can be used to access and display all media, and the passenger mode, which only displays relevant content for passengers that drivers can offer them to choose from.
Practical: The integrated message centre shows current information such as incoming calls, radio stations and traffic data at the bottom of the display. In the upper area, there is a quick select menu for individually defined content such as navigation destinations or telephone contacts which can be quickly accessed via the control panel or SmartSelect.
Comfortable and intuitive operation: SmartSelect
An infotainment system is only as good as its operation: With SmartSelect, intuitive handling meets innovative comfort. Thanks to the trend-setting control unit, operating the multimedia system is a breeze, even in rough driving conditions. Ergonomic, precise and comfortable: The innovative rotary/push-button control with integrated touchpad and comfortable thumb-ball support allows for precise inputs.
While operating the SmartSelect media control system, bus drivers can remain in their usual position and keep their eyes on the road at all times, which significantly reduces distractions or accidental changes of direction. The system is even set up for bus tours at night: Thanks to its all-round lighting, it can be easily identified with just a quick glance.
Drivers can conveniently access the main menu using the large bottom rotating ring. The smaller rotating ring is used to precisely navigate through sub-menus and to select individual functions. And it is easily possible to enter letters or numbers by just tracing them onto the touchpad with oneʼs finger.

Environmentally friendly power pack
Reliable, economical, powerful and environmentally friendly: The new MAN D26 common-rail engine does a great job behind the engine compartment flap of your Skyliner. The six-cylinder in-line engine with 382 kW (520 HP) offers an outstanding consumption-performance ratio and runs smoothly and quietly. The combination of exhaust gas recirculation EGR with the SCR filter ensures a maximum reduction of pollutant emissions. Your NEOPLAN Skyliner complies with the Euro 6 emission standard. At the same time, the drive system achieves particularly low fuel consumption and thus ensures excellent travel economy.
The ingenious aerodynamic design of the Skyliner also contributes to the lower fuel consumption. And the significantly higher passenger capacity of your double-decker further adds to the overall economic viability of your coach.

The active, electronically controlled suspension CDS (Comfort Drive Suspension) not only increases driving comfort, but also road safety. Electronically controlled dampers respond to changing loading and driving conditions at lightning speed and adjust the hardness and intensity of the damping to the new conditions in milliseconds. This means that the vehicle always stays safely on course on bends and when at full load.
