2. Apps and website applications
a) Adobe Systems
To host this website, we use Adobe (Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd.) and its partners for Content Delivery Networks (CDN), a network of connected servers for the delivery of media content, as commissioned data processors. Some of our data processing involves the transfer of data to third countries (i.e. countries that are not members of the European Union or the European Economic Area). Please note that not all third countries have an adequate level of data protection recognised by the European Commission. Where access to the data cannot be excluded from 'non-secure' third countries, EU standard contractual clauses have been concluded to appropriately guarantee our data processing and to protect your personal data. The EU standard contractual clauses provided by the EU Commission can be found here.
b) Adobe Target
We use Adobe Target software from Adobe. We need this service to display context-dependent information and to inform about current promotions and offers in compliance with the legal basis of Section 25 Para. 2(2) TTDSG in conjunction with Article 6 Para. 1(f) GDPR due to the overriding legitimate interest in displaying information. If you give your consent to website tracking, testing and personalisation of website and newsletter content with in the cookie notice, cookie settings or in the Consent Management System, we can also display content and offers on the website and in the newsletter (separate registration and consent) that suit your interests. The software also allows us to perform 'A/B tests' or multivariate tests on the website. This means the software checks a variant that has changed compared to the original version of the website (e.g. with different design and content). By comparing the two variants, we can then determine which presentation our website visitors prefer. This allows us to continuously optimise the portal for our users. For more information about Adobe Target features, click here.
Adobe Target captures usage behaviour using quantitative methods. The full IP address or data that allows conclusions to be drawn about individual persons is not recorded or processed. Adobe uses session cookies and permanent cookies. The former are only temporarily stored for the duration of your use of our website. Permanent cookies are used to record information about visitors who repeatedly access our website. If required for the above personalisation of website/newsletter content, pseudonymous interest profiles are created. We use Adobe Target for the purpose of personalisation only after your prior consent in compliance with the legal basis of Section 25 Para. 1 TTDSG (consent for setting and exporting cookies) in conjunction with Adobe Target. Art. 6 Para. 1(1a) of the GDPR (consent for the data processing applied to it). You can subsequently access these in our Consent Management System either during your first visit or via our cookie settings and adapt or revoke them with effect for the future. Adobe's applicable privacy policy can be accessed via Adobe's Privacy Centre .
c) Adobe Analytics Manager
On our website, we use Adobe Analytics, a web analytics service from Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, 4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Republic of Ireland. Adobe Analytics allows us to analyse the user behaviour of visitors and visitor flows. This allows us to create content on demand and also detect and rectify problems faster.
Adobe Analytics stores cookies in your browser for this purpose. We also use settings in Adobe Analytics to ensure that the IP address transmitted to Adobe is shortened by the last octet (replaced by 0) before geolocation, so that unambiguous assignment of the IP address is impossible and can only be traced to large geographical areas (regions). In addition, after geolocation has taken place, the IP address is completely removed from the data record, so that no further conclusions can be drawn about the IP address. Adobe processes the collected data and information exclusively on our behalf. The subject matter is the analysis of user behaviour and the creation of anonymised reports or statistics. We use the information gathered to optimise our website and improve our service offering. The legal basis for data processing is Section 15 Para. 3 TMG or Art. 6 Para. 1(f) of the GDPR. The legitimate interests are the aforementioned purposes. Adobe's applicable privacy policy can be accessed via Adobe's Privacy Centre .
You can prevent the setting of cookies by our website at any time by means of a corresponding setting in the Internet browser, to permanently object to the setting of cookies.
d) OneTrust
We use OneTrust as a consent tool. With this data protection management software, we offer you the option of consenting to the storage of cookies and ensuring you can revoke your consent in a legally compliant manner.
You can find more information about OneTrust in the OneTrust Privacy Policy.
e) Vimeo
For embedding and streaming of videos on our website we use either the provider Vimeo or its subsidiary Livestream. Vimeo is operated by Vimeo, LLC with headquarters at 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011.
When you call up a page on our website with a video embedded via a Vimeo plugin, your browser establishes a connection to the Vimeo servers. This sends information to Vimeo about the pages you have visited. If you are logged in to Vimeo when you visit our website, Vimeo will also assign this information directly to your personal user account. Interactions with the plugin, such as clicking the start button, are also assigned to your Vimeo account. To prevent this allocation, you must log out of your Vimeo account before using our website.
For privacy policy and further information on data processing by Vimeo, please visit https://vimeo.com/privacy
You can prevent Vimeo being loaded in your browser settings. For detailed information on how to do this, please refer to the instructions of your browser provider.
f) Google Maps
This website integrates the Google Maps map service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4 Ireland, (hereinafter "Google"). The integration of Google Maps establishes a direct connection to the servers of Google and your browser. This enables the Google Maps map to be provided. By integrating and using the Google Maps map, the IP address is transferred by your browser to Google for independent data processing. In addition, Google independently processes the search terms entered by you on the Google Maps map and – if you have given your consent – your current location. In addition, the Google Maps map also includes so-called Google Fonts. These are fonts from Google. To display Google Fonts in Google Maps, a connection is also established from your browser to the Google server and your IP address is sent through your browser to Google for their own data processing. Further information on data processing and possible transfers of personal data in third countries (e.g. USA) by Google can be found in Google's privacy policy.
The legal basis for the transfer of personal data to Google is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1(a) of the GDPR. Your consent is valid for a period of 12 months and includes all applications on this website that integrate Google Maps (including embedded Google Fonts).
g) Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Use of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud enables us to support you with personalised and convenient services like personal consulting recommendations, tailor-made offers and customised newsletters. On our website (man.eu), data processing in the Marketing Cloud only takes place when you fill out a form to contact us or register for a newsletter. Your information can be linked to an existing customer profile if related consent is given, for example by clicking on a checkbox when filling out the form. This allows us to provide you with individual advice and tailor-made offers. If we use specific Salesforce Marketing Cloud features, such as Cloud pages, we use tracking solutions to track the use of these pages – like our offer or event pages. This helps us to improve the relevance of our content and tailor it to your interests.
Personal data is processed by the Salesforce Marketing Cloud exclusively on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions on the basis of an order processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 of the GDPR. To ensure personalised communication, we use various segmentation and automation functions in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. These help us to tailor relevant content to your interests and needs. We also work with data from our CRM database to ensure an individual and consistent customer experience across various channels.
Artificial Intelligence (Salesforce Einstein)
To further optimise your customer experience, we also rely on AI-supported functions of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, in particular Salesforce Einstein. This technology helps us determine the optimal time for sending our emails, for example, through Send Time Optimisation – based on your previous usage behaviour. This means that you receive relevant information exactly when you are most likely to read it.
We also take an omnichannel approach to contact you via various channels such as email, SMS, WhatsApp and other digital communication channels. This enables us to provide you with relevant information via your preferred communication channel – for example, by e-mail or SMS – and to make your interaction with our services as seamless and convenient as possible.
Tracking and analysis (e.g. emails, CloudPages)
Emails sent with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud may contain tracking technologies. We record which emails were opened and which links were clicked – provided that you have given your consent. We only analyse this information in relation to newsletters that you have subscribed to, to improve the relevance of our content and provide you with suitable information in a targeted manner.
You can object to this processing or revoke your consent at any time by changing your settings in our communication preferences.
